ME+IR+CPL to ATPL(A)

Modular training ME + IR + CPL to ATPL(A) is the most optimal and cost-effective solution for pilots who want to comprehensively train themselves to the CPL(A) license together with the MEP(L) and IR / ME entitlements. The modular training is divided into 4 stages. A practical exam for a CPL(A) can be combined with a practical exam to the MEP(L) license within 6 months of completing the training to the MEP(L) certificate. The CPL(A) license together with the ME / IR entitlement is required from applicants applying for the position of the first officer in an airline.

The start of training requires: completing the ATPL(A) theoretical course, having a minimum of 150 hours of flight experience at the time of commencing practical training for a CPL(A), minimum 200 hours of flight experience when applying for a CPL(A), minimum the age at the time of applying for a license is 18 years, the required class-medical certificate Part-MED class 1.

A pilot with a set of ME + IR + CPL entitlements can immediately apply for a job with airlines. An additional advantage or a necessary requirement when applying for a job at airlines is training in multi-crew cooperation (MCC), which includes 25 hours of lectures and 20 hours of practical training on the FNTP II device and training on the basis of flights on jet airplanes (JOC), which includes 5 hours of theory and 6 hours of practical training on the FNTP II device.

Duration of training – ME + IR + CPL training consists of 4 stages:

  • STAGE 1 – 5 hours of flight training in night conditions;
  • STAGE 2 – 6 hours of flight training on a multi-engine complex aircraft;
  • STAGE 3 – 55 hours of training according to the instruments, including a minimum of 15 hours of training on a multi-engine aircraft;
  • STAGE 4 – 15 hours of training in visibility conditions, including 5 hours of training on a complex airplane and 10 hours of training on a single-engine airplane.

After successfully completing STAGE 1 and 2, the practical training for a CPL(A) with ME / IR entitlement includes:

  • 55 hours of basic instrument training;
  • 15 hours of flight training with an instructor in conditions with visibility.

A practical exam for a CPL(A) can be combined with a practical exam to the MEP (L) license within 6 months from the completion of the training to the MEP(L) certificate
